Wednesday, September 30, 2026 - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a fresh security concern after two photographers were spotted around the school attended by their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in England.
The men were reportedly seen walking around the perimeter, stopping at different points and looking into the school grounds before returning to a white rental van. Police later identified one of the men as an international photographer working for a European press agency.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described the incident as “extraordinarily reckless” and an “unacceptable” intrusion into the privacy of children. The comments came after the photographers were observed by both the family’s private security team and school staff.
The incident has added to concerns surrounding the children’s safety after Archie and Lilibet were moved from their first UK school following discussions between their parents and security team about the practicalities of their daily journey.
The latest incident also comes shortly after a separate security alert near RAF Fairford, where five men were arrested before being released on bail.
Harry and Meghan have been living in the UK with their children since returning from California in August, while their current home and school location have been kept private.
The new school incident has renewed attention on the family’s security arrangements as authorities continue to assess Harry’s security situation in Britain.
