Tuesday,
August 13, 2013 – In a bizarre incident on Kiss TV, a televangelist
by the name, Dr. Prophet Victor Kanyari, paraded a HIV+ boy on national TV with
only a short on.
Kanyari later on demanded for worshippers and viewers to
plant a seed worth Sh. 310 to facilitate prayers for the boy. Kenyans however
did not take the move kindly and bashed the pastor and Kiss TV online.

I feel
sad at how our government is silent at such exploitation and unethical
behaviours by clergy men. The church has become a plat form of exploitation and
corruption.

make money without breaking a sweat!

ReplyDeleteThis man`s behavior stinks. he has become a nuisance on our airwaves and should be investigated and arraigned in court for such awful acts. I have seen him several times asking for "mbegus" and think he is a straight conman. I also have doubts on how one of the leading Kenyan Gospel artists became his wife and bore him a child. we never heard of their wedding and the man has never come out to let people know that the lady is really his wife

Jesus never asked for money to pray for people, in fact He gave all what He had to the poor.He should be thrown away and be persecuted for this, he is soiling the name of Kiss TV.I saw him even not once but many times. Why can't they bring educative programmes or even movies for children to enjoy if they lack scripts to put on air.

Does it really mean that those who cannot afford to plant the 310 seed will never be blessed, or serve a different God. Surely these con pastors should be banned and their so called churches closed.

ReplyDeleteVery devilish pastor kanyari may our almighty punish him within 24hrs tyme,imagine my friend send 310/ to this no.0720899918 and the following day he received a msg from the numbers on the screen telling him that his prayers have been answered so he is surposed to panda bengu through mpesa of 577 and later smsd again demanding him to kupanda bengu of 1577 i think this thing of pastor telling people to panda bengu is pure conning.

His mother Prophetess.Lucy Naduta was in court some years back for conning pple in Nairobi ati she can heal AIDS upon payment of ksh.150000.
His younger brother is also claiming to offer healing services at a church located in Sinai.He is called Pst.Waweru Mwangi.I saw him on Utv.
This is a family thing and they are con men. Please do your research and reveal the truth to Kenyans and the world at large.

This so called pastor has no problem. The problem is us cos we entertain them. One who is the parent/guardian to this boy who let him to the pastor. Again, why give money to the pastor instead of giving to the boy himself. We are more sinners than the pastor. Read Ezekiel 33:7-9, Lev 5:17, Joshua 7 and Numbers 14:18

This so called pastor Kanyari is the son of pastor lucy who was once convicted for conning ksh: 300,000 for each HIV infected people so that she could heal them thru prayers. I now understand, this is a family business including Kiss Tv CON-MEN U SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.
