MEGAN THEE STALLION feared stroke during Broadway health scare

Wednesday, September 30, 2026 - Megan Thee Stallion has revealed that she feared she was having a stroke when she became seriously unwell during her Broadway run in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

The 31-year-old rapper said her hands and face suddenly felt frozen and she struggled to convince people around her that something was wrong. She was rushed to hospital on March 31 after becoming ill during the production.

Speaking about the frightening experience, Megan said she had not been eating properly and had become severely dehydrated while dealing with the demands of performing.

Doctors ultimately attributed her symptoms to extreme exhaustion, dehydration and a panic attack rather than a stroke. Megan later described the episode as a wake-up call after realising she had been pushing her body beyond its limits.

Megan returned to the stage shortly afterwards but ultimately ended her Broadway run earlier than originally planned. In her latest interview, she acknowledged that she had underestimated the physical demands of the role and the pressure of performing multiple shows each week.

The experience has prompted her to pay closer attention to rest, hydration and her wellbeing while continuing to work on new music and other performances.
