Kalonzo may join Raila

Monday March 26, 2012 - As the Political heat intensified over the weekend, the DAILY POST can now reveal that Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is warming up to join his former ally and ODM party leader Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Though the Vice President has dismissed such allegations, close allies to the Vice President who spoke to the DAILY POST on condition of anonymity revealed how they are secretly planning to join ODM’s negotiating table and join the ODM bandwagon in winning the next year presidential elections.

‘We are in the negotiating table with like minded people in ODM party and soon we will go public and announce our resolutions. Vice President is optimistic that every thing will go well since the G7 alliance leaders have snubbed him in the recent past,” he said.

Last week Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka met at two different public functions in Kitui County although they have insisted they are running for president with different political parties.

Political analysts and pundits have termed the Kalonzo-Raila alliance as looming, and will be a formidable force in capturing the next presidential seat.

They said it will be a big blow to G7 alliance since Kalonzo unified the alliance and he was committed in the deferring of Uhuru and Ruto’s ICC cases at the Hague.
