Wednesday, December 05, 2012 - Insecurity in some parts of Nairobi is still high even with the flooding of officers in the gang infested areas. In Kileleshwa, a woman was yesterday carjacked and gang raped by gangsters before she was dumped at the outskirts of the up market estate.

The middle aged woman is alleged to have been driving home at about 10 p.m. when the gang of robbers attacked her; the gang of three men drove her to a deserted area and did the most horrific of evils.

They gang battered and raped her for hours before releasing her. The woman walked to Kileleshwa police station where she reported the incident. Police rushed her to hospital where she was treated and discharged.

According to Kileleshwa OCPD, the men are members of a group that has been terrorizing residents in the area and other up market estates in Nairobi. Cases of carjacking have risen in the past month and it is expected that they will escalate with the festive season.

Police are investigating the case and are hoping to nab the members of the gang.
