I was not booed by UoN students - Jimnah Mbaru

Monday, 26^th March 2012 - Jimnah Mbaru, a Nairobi governor aspirant has vehemently denied claims that he was booed by the University of Nairobi students in a beauty pageant contest last week.

Mbaru is alleged to have been booed when he walked on stage during the Mr and Miss University pageant. Apparently, the rowdy crowd did not want to hear anything on him and booed him out of the stage.

Jimnah on the on the hand maintains that he peacefully gave his speech to a welcoming audience and that he stayed throughout the event. The event was sponsored by the Nairobi town clerk Phillip Kisia.

Mbaru has emphasized that the claims are only propaganda and politically motivated.

Additionally, Mbaru has said that the claims are pure malice and that people should not believe that. He has promised to fight hard and said politicians should let Kenyans decide who the best man is.
