Trans Nzoia police hunt MAN who chopped of LOVER’S HEAD

Tuesday, December 04, 2012 - Police in Trans Nzoia West District are hunting a man who is alleged to have attacked his lover and chopped off her head. Apparently the woman’s parents had rejected their union claiming that they were related.

Residents said that the man attacked the young woman who had just moved to the area from her rural home in Moi’s bridge. She was at her shop when the man who was armed with a sharp panga chopped her head without argument.

Police were called to the scene of the incident and found 5 liters of petrol which they suspected the man wanted to use to burn the woman.

The man managed to escape from the scene of the incident and police believe he is hiding at Moi’s bridge where he resides; a man hunt for the murderer has been launched.

Kibomet chief Joseph Togomo confirmed the incident and said police are following promising leads and will nab the man to answer to murder charges.
