LOVE TRIANGLE……Pokot man kills neighbor

Tuesday, December 04, 2012 - In Pokot Central District, a middle aged man was shot dead by his neighbor on the allegations that he was having an affair with his wife; the man accosted his neighbor as he drove his cattle to a watering point in Murupus village.

Resident said that the man’s wife was always seen hanging around her neighbor which raised suspicions. Rumor had it that they were once caught red handed having sex at a water point in the area.

The woman’s husband received the rumors and somehow believed it; he is alleged to have accosted the man at the water point as he drove his herd of cattle to drink water.

He shot him several arrows on the back before fleeing from the scene of the incident; the neighbor was rushed to Ortum mission hospital where he died as doctors tried to save his life.

Confirming the incident Kapenguria OCS Kahiga Mwaura said that the man was arrested and police are investigating the case. He will be facing murder charges.
