I am not engaged! - Miley Cyrus

Wednesday, 28^th March 2012 - Young pop star, Miley Cyrus famed for the hit song, ‘the Climb’ has opened up to clarify rumours claiming that she is engaged.

Miley aka Hannah Montana raised suspicion last week when she tweeted a picture of her freshly manicured nails. What captured the attention of her fans was not the nails’ artistic design rather, the ring on her engagement finger.

This comes at a time when rumours have been flying around that her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth has been cheating on her with actress Jennifer Lawrence. The same ring is said to be one that she was spotted wearing last weekend at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XVIII in Phoenix, Arizona.

She attended the event in the company of her beau Liam. This left tongues wagging with a lot of people assuming that he had proposed to her. The issue went further to be a trending topic on twitter. However, Cryus woke up on Monday morning with an aim of clarifying the whole hearsay story.

She tweeted, “I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to talk about! It’s topaz people!”

I guess she has now put the record straight. Right?
