Thursday, August 15, 2013 - Word on the street has it that Tanzanian bongo star, Diamond, demanded a presidential suite before his Saturday performance in Mombasa.

Speaking to Citizen TV’s Willy M. Tuva, Diamond denied the allegations terming them as ungrounded rumors. He said he had arrived early in Mombasa thus there was no way he would have been demanding a Presidential Suite at 3 a.m.

Diamond revealed that he had issues with the organizers who had failed to pay him the remaining Sh. 590,000 before the Mombasa show which caused delays.

Diamond on the other hand said that he fell in love with Kenyans and finally understands why artists come to Kenya and get stuck.

He further revealed that he would want to work with Jaguar because he is a very hospitable man.
