Thursday, August 15, 2013 - The media immigration is back and everyday journalists are either being fired or hired in different media houses in Kenya. After K24 fired 73 employees and now looking for new journalists, Citizen TV has also been hit badly.

Royal Media Services’ iron lady and long serving employee, Faridah Karoney, who was the Editorial Director is leaving the station and is headed to state owned KBC.

Apparently KBC Managing Director, Waithaka Waihenya, has been fired and the station has opted to hire Faridah to take the old broadcasting station to a new level. Faridah is known to be a top manager in the media industry and the best person for the job.
