Monday,
August 19, 2013 - Dr. Prophet Pastor Victor Kanyari of the
Salvation Healing Ministry church is on the spot after he paraded a sick child
in his church and demanded money from followers to heal the boy in a televised
show.
Yesterday, NTV carried the story with one of its journalists, Enock Sikolia, calling one of his lines pretending to be needy. In his first call, Sikolia pretended to be a man from Mumias who was in need of a life partner.
Kanyari demanded Sh. 777 of which Sikolia said he could not
afford and his call ended there. Later on, he made another call posing as a
businessman whose container had been held at the port.
Sikolia was told to pay Sh. 7,777 and his container will be
released after prayers.
