Tuesday, December 04, 2012 - Over the weekend Samuel Kuria a.k.a. SK Blue launched a Short
Message Service (SMS) for his company Sakata Media. SK is popularly known for
his track Anita which was a collabo with Jimmy Gait.
SK Blue who is also a co host for a
gospel show on K24 dubbed Gospel Garage said that the SMS
service dubbed Sakata Mobi will be targeting corporates
aiming at reaching their customers and clients.
According to SK, the service will
offer download services for the 50 signed artistes and messages for their fans.
SK said that Sakata mobi is different because it is android enhanced and thus
it is easy to monitor the downloads.
The service will be working as a
premium rating service (PRSP) that will be providing recorded information to
subscribers of a network like Safaricom, Airtel, YU or Orange. They will also
provide recorded live conversations.
The services may be largely used
during the campaign period as it will also be used for short term promotions
and campaigns.
